2nd COMENIUS-Meeting in Bad Ischl
The 2nd Comenius-meeting led 25 young students and teachers from Pula, Croatia, and Celje, Slovenia, for the first time to Bad Ischl. Beside very intensive work on the scenes and dances of the MMT – Multicultural Music Theater – there was also time to discover the nature and culture of the Salzkammergut. The guests visited Hallstatt, and performed at the concert of the “Kurmusik Bad Ischl”. The audience was very imopressed by the drinking-songs of the slovenian choir and the exotic sound of traditional istian folk music instruments. There was intensive team work between croatian, slovenian, and austrian pupils and teachers. The structure of the musical theater which combines traditional folk music and modern elements became much clearer. The 3rd project-meeting will be in october 2012 – the orchestra of the music school Bad Ischl is looking forward to an exiting musical rhearsal in Pula!
